Our girls absolutely adore Dr. DeRoin’s mobile acupuncture visits—their tails start wagging the second she steps through the door! Being treated in the comfort of their own home keeps them completely relaxed, oftentimes falling asleep during sessions on their favorite blanket. As a pet parent, I’m just as grateful for her care. Dr. DeRoin takes the time to carefully evaluate each dog and adjust their treatments. She is a trusted and genuine partner in my dogs’ health and happiness!

If you have a frenchie with IVDD I highly recommend this place for acupuncture! My dog was completely paralyzed on christmas and in less than 3 weeks is back up on her feet and walking! She is peeing on her own. No expressions needed. Just amazing the difference is night and day. Every treatment we see more and more improvement. I will definitely stick with doing this and would absolutely recommend acupuncture to anyone dealing with the same!

Dr Jamie is great! Our 14 year old Labrador Retreiver had no problem with acupuncture treatment. In fact she seemed to like it! It certainly made her feel better. She is now walking around the entire block! Nothing better than having the vet come to your house and do the treatment there. The dog is relaxed. Definitely worth a try and Dr. Jamie is terrific!

Dr DeRoin was recommended to me by our barn owner because my horse was not sweating. We had tried so many treatments to get her sweating and nothing was working. Dr DeRoin was already coming to treat other horses at the barn so I asked if she could treat mine as well. I honestly was skeptical that it would get her sweating but was willing to try anything. Dr DeRoin was so wonderful, she took the time to explain to what she was doing to myself and my young daughter and even gave my daughter a "job" to allow her to feel like she was helping. My horse did not seem bothered by the treatment and seemed content with what was happening. The next day my daughter rode her and for the first time this summer she was soaked in sweat! I highly recommend Dr DeRoin and she will be my first call if our horse has sweating issues in the future.

I am beyond grateful for the level of service and care from Dr. Jamie DeRoin. She was outstanding and went beyond the call of duty for my horse Max who was suffering from anhidrosis . She reviewed complementary therapy that helps to restore balance and function by stimulating specific points related to medians in Traditional Chinese acupuncture in conjunction with herbal medicine to enhance its effectiveness. She provides you with support with guidelines and resources used in evidence based veterinary practice and does follow up phones calls after each visit. Dr DeRoin is an absolutely incredible vet. We clicked right away, and I was at ease and comfortable with her immediately. She is a wealth of knowledge, and that is putting it mildly. Her acupuncture helped my dachshund begin to get relief from the neurological issue she is experiencing. Dr. DeRoin is patient, gentle, kind and everything you look for in a Vet. I HIGHLY recommend her! My little Hannah says “Thank you!!!!”

My horse a lot of anxiety and defensiveness, which we are working on. Dr Jamie was SOOO patient, even when he "medium-key" tried to eat her. By the end of the session he was a little lump of Jello! I recently adopted a dog from a shelter. He was taken in as a stray and his history is unknown. Recently he began looking upwards whether he's inside or out and acting fearful. I prefer to manage my health holistically and do the same for my pets. A quick search online brought me to Pioneer Integrative Veterinary Services and Dr Jamie DeRoin. We were able to speak by phone and she is amazing. She took the time to hear my concerns and although her protocols will be something for my dogs future she suggested a few veterinarians in my area that could get a baseline on Oreo's health. She emphasized the need to establish a foundation of his current issues and build from there. The very fact that she took time to listen and then guide me made such an impression on me. It would be great if more "professionals" handled their business this way. I will reccomend her to every pet owner who could use her services.

Dr. DeRoin is such a thoughtful, positive, and thorough veterinarian when caring for my pug. The acupuncture has really helped her calm down, eat more, move her bowels, and her overall health is much better and all without the constant barrage of medications. Pia Pia's health has been a roller coaster over the years, and Dr. DeRoin has truly improved her overall health and well-being. We are truly grateful, thankful, and appreciative.

Dr DeRoin is a kind, competent vet. She has helped my horse enormously. I'm now having her work on my dog who has food allergies and a sensitive gut.
