Dr. Jamie DeRoin, DVM CVA

I am an integrative veterinarian offering acupuncture and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine for dogs, cats, and horses on the Treasure Coast.

I grew up on a small farm in Nebraska and have always had the desire to work with animals. My dad trained racehorses, and I spent many summers working with him at the racetracks in Nebraska. I graduated with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and received my veterinary degree from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I completed an equine internship in Ocala, Florida following vet school. I spent several years working as a racetrack practitioner in south Florida and have experience working in small animal practice. In 2017, I earned a certificate in veterinary acupuncture from the Chi Institute, which has been a primary focus of my practice.

The best part of my practice is the relationship I build with my patients and clients. Nothing gives me greater joy than to help an animal feel better and get back into a improved state of well being.
